Barbara and Simon already gave the correct answer.
I'll just add that for many values, integer and unsigned are largely
interchangeable since their domains overlap. Any non-negative value
that an integer variable can hold is also a valid value for an
unsigned variable of the same size, and has the exact same bit pattern.
That is, coding 10I0 by mistake where the actual function requires
10U0 is not a disaster, and will still work for half the expected
values of the function.
