error# MCH1210

Buffer length longer than record for member.Receiver
value too small to hold the result .
The target for a numeric operation is too small to
hold the result (C G D F).


Asked to take D and then G.

Hi all,
this was one error  while running a batch at the end
of NEWYORK end of day.The IT person is advising to
take D and then G. I ve been seeing this in the status
report whenevr there is an error like the above.
Based on the above solution can anyone guess and give
me what's happening exactly?why he is advising to take
first 'D' and then after 'G'....
what could be the scenario ,can anyone who has worked
on production support  help me ...
