Using the QUSLFLD API is overkill, eh? I've been thinking of someday (sigh..) writing a simple procedure to return the basic PF (or LF, etc.) stuff in a procedure call: type, length, decimals, instead of hardcoding everything upon need. - Alan ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joel Cochran" <jrc@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries" <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 10, 2003 3:15 PM Subject: Re: Parse variable length, delimited, data into a data structure? | David, | | I have a routine that tokenizes a String into array elements.
