I have a routine that tokenizes a String into array elements.  In order
to do what you are asking the routine would have to know the exact data
structure layout and field names so it doesn't seem likely, but you
could easily loop through this array and populate your specific DS. 
Maybe you could even do a nifty pointer trick to make it automagic, but
it hurts my head to think of that right now...
