You can use the OS/400 command: MKDIR '/buck/x'. If you must use QSH for some reason or another, try the CMD parameter: QSH CMD('mkdir /buck/x'). If you do something that creates standard output, re-direct it to a file and you won't get the 'close this window' prompt: ovrdbf stdout qtemp/x QSH CMD('mkdir /buck/x; ls -al /buck; rmdir /buck/x') dsppfm qtemp/x Hope some of this was helpful. --buck
