Re: Record name the same as the file name




I would like to add to Hans Bolt's comments the following

Create an extension to all of the the RPG database file operation codes
so I can do things like these . . . Only when necessary:

o     Read SOMENAME (by filename)
o     Chain SOMENAME (by record format name)
o     Write SOMENAME ( I know that this is a record format name)
o     Delete SOMENAME ( I know that this is a record format name )

The compiler could understand this in the calculation specifications

It will be a nice to have ... !
