At my location, we use almost exclusively page at a time subfile. So for us, reloading the subfile is natural and quick. But if you use a load all, from the user perspective, hole in the subfile should be filled and thus a subfile reload. If the reload is too long (maybe because ther are several thousand records to load), then maybe the program should be change to page at a time. One potential idea. If the sorting in your load all subfile is not important, you could always move the last record of the subfile in the hole created by a deletion. This should not have big performance impact. Do you totally reload and display from the beginning, leave the record blank? I am reloading and would like to think there is a better way. Thanks John M.
