James, I have file maintenance programs that use both flat screens and subfiles. This is code that I wrote in RPG400 several years ago. I think that this code is very well structured. In fact, it is too structured for some people, since I never use GOTO or CAB** operations to branch around within the code, and I sometimes have only a few lines of code in a subroutine (generally one main function performed by each subroutine). I never took the time to convert it to RPGIV, because it works and I don't generally work on things that aren't broke. If you want some samples let me know by private mail.
