Well, the original question (by Joe Pluta) was about the actual mechanism of
the passing of the parameter. And your answer to the question by Rick
Rauterkus was also a description of what happens at runtime. And when I'm in
a nitpicking mood (don't ask my colleagues) and read about a 'read-only
pointer' I react. But apart from that, your explanation was quite clear, of
course, so I think I did enough nitpicking for now.
