RE: DSPART(MDT)

The DSPATR(MDT) keyword specifies that you want to turn on a field's mofified 
data tag when writing the screen to the workstation.  This will fool the 
workstation into thinking that the user has modified the field.  Therefore any 
validity checking keywords on that field will be enabled.
