Scott what you say makes sense. And we are looking at replacing windows on the desktops and servers with Linux. However, performance is important. IBM has done great things to increase iSeries Navigator with performance, but they still have a long way to go in other performance area's. I'd use it even more if performance was better. For the short term I am willing to sacrifice some openness for performance.
