In fact, I have found RLU to be somewhat dangerous to use. As just one example, I have been burned in the past inserting a line within an existing record and RLU took the liberty to create two new records in the process! (One was the inserted line, and the second was the part of the record before the line insertion.) In a previous life, I had taken to creating a backup copy of the source before I edit it with RLU. RLU is totally counter-intuitive. I used to wonder what in the world the IBM developers were smoking when they put that kludge on. I equate it with the one-line SEU editor in the S/34/36 varieties. Especially once you see how the third-party product RDA works almost exactly the same as SDA, you really have to wonder where IBM's AS/400 utility development brain trust was. My totally unbiased opinion. <g> - Dan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. http://search.yahoo.com
