I wasn't sure if it was for single record or multiple record access. The problem I have with single record access is that the system actually uses a cursor under the covers. And while using C/EXEC SQL C+ Set Option C+ Naming = *Sys, C+ Commit = *None, C+ UsrPrf = *User, C+ DynUsrPrf = *User, C+ CloSqlCsr = *EndMod C/END-EXEC is supposed to help (the CloSqlCsr part of it anyway). The rules on that are so picky it often doesn't work. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
