By creating the file yourself instead of using CPYTOPCD or other utililty.
Outputing CSV style files in RPG IV is not rocket science..

The assertion was that you can't get Excel to import a string of digits and call
it a text cell "no matter what".  I was simply correcting that assertion.  The
fact that the various CPYTOxxx utilties are too dumb to have this as an option
is another topic.
