Has anyone ever used an analogy successfully on these lists? :-) Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." It is the cat's owner that pays for the food. But if the cat won't eat the food, the company won't sell a second can to that cat owner ever again. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Date: Monday, May 12, 2003 9:57:18 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: RE: Using OO concepts in RPG Booth, When it comes to compilers, Joe, (and other developers) are the customer, NOT the people he is writing code for. After all, if auto manufacturer "A" buys his steel from "X". Who is "X"'s customer: "A" or the person who buy's cars? I say "A". After all, "X" might service the end user better by adapting his steel that it no longer fit's "X"'s specifications but instead fits some other manufacturers, but "X" is going to be honked.
