It's quite possible to write a C++ program that trashes everything about OO principles but still uses the beyond C features of the language. I took C++ twice, had to drop it the first time because real life interfered. The instructor in the first class was still a C programmer at heart and it showed--smart guy, but still had the C mindset. The instructor in the second class wasn't nearly as clever a programmer, but he had a good handle on the OO approach and tried to stick to it. To a lesser extent, you can ignore OO in Java and Python. I believe, and I think I've proved personally, that you can write bad code in any language. <g> > -----Original Message----- > From: Bartell, Aaron L.
