This is why I'll often use the external data structure, however, I'll 
refer to the fields individually on my select's, fetch's, etc.

Then you'll only have trouble if one particular column attribute changes. 
But the odds of that happening are as likely as SSA changing the size of 
the item number field in BPCS.  Wait, lousy example, they did that.
