I am happy to say that after having reviewed the program, we have discovered that those two records are the only ones subject to the move in question. So, the answer is, if you: MOVELCFRDA DIV 10 Where CFRDA = '350P', an intermediate move takes place that moves 350P to a 4 byte numeric, translating each character to a numeric, so: 3 = 3 5 = 5 0 = 0 P = 7- Then movel to the final result being 3-. 3507- sign rules because it is has a larger defined size than the result.
