I would dearly love to see AS/SET (or any tool, for that matter) upgrade to allow the creation of integrated service programs. The AS/SET data model concept would be perfect for that. You'd define the data model, then let AS/SET generate a completely encapsulated service program that supported not only basic CRUD (Create/Read/Update/Delete) requests, but also different levels of queries. This would then be an extenstion of the data model itself, and when hyou included a data model in a program, it would actually code calls to the service programs rather than the actual file I/O operations. Wouldn't THAT be a gas? Joe
