We have just upgraded from version V3R2 to V5R1M0 . There is, in some of
our CL programs, a CHGVAR command that is now failing with the following
error message :

Value cannot be converted to type implied by receiver.

The command was doing a CHGVAR from a type *DEC variable to a *CHAR
variable. This was working fine before with V4R2

Would anyone know what mus we do to prevent this message ?

Thanks in advance
