This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I’m trying to solve the problem of SQL –183 errors when reading from a DDS PF and finding records with null dates (the null date is valid). After a couple of RTFM and RTFFAQ’s sessions, I’m getting the records (using this select statement) as long as I specify DATFMT(*ISO) on the CRTSQLRPGI command. C eval q_select = 'Select + C nuucust,+ C nuueffdt,+ C coalesce(nuucandt,''0001-01-01''),+ C nuubasis,+ C nuumode,+ C nuufsum,+ C nuufchi,+ C nuucur,+ C nuurate,+ C nuucuser,+ C nuucts + C from nup006 + C where nuucust = ' + C '''' + nuucust + '''' Is this approach valid? Is there some way I can avoid specifying DATFMT(*ISO), short of CHGCMDDFT? I tried “H DATFMT(*ISO)” but that didn’t work. And how do you deal with SETLL and READE separation anxiety? Thanks, Reeve --
