RE: Error in the EVAL Statement? (when + is used more than once)

"You may have as many operators as you desire in the EVAL statement.  "

I know, but my point is the expression itself.  For example:

c                   eval      amount2 = amount1 + + 500.00

For me it is not logical to use two operands like this if there is nothing
between these two.
