You can place the hex code in front of the data, and the closing hex code at the end, keep in mind that this bumps up your field size on the screen by two positions - IE: green reverse is hex 21, and close it with hex 20. Check the archives, I do believe people have posted easy solutions to doing this, I am old and still enjoy doing all the work myself, so I dbu the source file and change to hex mode to do this, most on this list use record/play keys, or have templates to be able to use "seu/pdm" to do the job, I've just never taken the time to use the short-cuts. Following are the attributes that I have used: 20 - GREEN 21 - GREEN REVERSED 22 - WHITE 23 - WHITE REVERSED 24 - GREEN UNDERLINED 25 - GREEN REVERSED/UNDERLINED 26 - WHITE UNDERLINED 27 - NONDSP 28 - RED 29 - RED REVERSED 2A - RED HIGHLIGHTED 2B - RED REVERSED 2C - RED UNDERLINED 2D - RED REVERSED/UNDERLINED 2E - RED UNDERLINED/HIGHLIGHTED 2F - NONDSP 30 - TORQUISE (SHOWS COLUMN SEPARATORS) 31 - TORQUISE REVERSED (SHOWS COLUMN SEPARATORS) 32 - YELLOW (SHOWS COLUMN SEPARATORS) 33 - YELLOW REVERSED (SHOWS COLUMN SEPARATORS) 34 - TORQUISE UNDERLINED 35 - TORQUISE REVERSED/UNDERLINED 36 - YELLOW UNDERLINED 37 - NONDSP (SHOWS COLUMN SEPARATORS) 38 - PINK 39 - PINK REVERSED 3A - BLUE 3B - BLUE REVERSED 3C - PINK UNDERLINED 3D - PINK UNDERLINED/REVERSED 3E - BLUE UNDERLINED HTH Mark -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:rpg400-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Tanveer, Mohammad Sent: Wednesday, July 10, 2002 12:29 PM To: 'rpg400-l@midrange.com' Subject: change the Attribute of a field [MST] How can I change the Attribute of a field on the Screen without using any indicator.
