I've experimented with the PFLD technique, but had problems because of PC (position cursor.) 1) Although PC is specified using the DSPATR keyword, apparently there is no hex code associated with this "attribute." So I still needed an indicator for that. Which wouldn't be an insurmountable problem except 2) I couldn't seem to get PC to work correctly in conjunction with PFLDs in a subfile. My subfile fields had all of the correct display attributes, but the PC didn't appear to be recognized (when used on the same subfile field that had DSPATR(&PFLD).) If I remember correctly, I experienced some of the same problems for similarly defined fields in the subfile control record. Maybe I was doing something wrong -- anyone else have that problem?
