We are using Client Access Express For Windows V5R1M0 SI02795 with Windows
2000 and are having a problem with the Excel add-in.

For some users, when they use the add-in to transfer files from the AS/400,
they have to sign in each time they run a transfer request. For others, they
only have to sign in once, when they do their first transfer request or when
they first initiate an emulation session. The users that have to sign in each
time have to do so regardless of whether or not there is an emulation session
running, too.

The users that have to sign in each time would like to be like the other users
and sign in only once.

We (the IT staff) can't identify what is governing whether or not users have to
sign in for each request. We don't think we've set them up differently. We'd
like for users to only have to sign on once.

Anyone know this magic?
(I apologize if this is going to the group list - I couldn't identify a better
one though!)
