When creating a S/36 file, you have the option of making it
delete capable.  Here's the S/36 BLDFILE command:

   BLDFILE MYFILE,I,RECORDS,10000,100,,T,1,5,NDFILE,NODUPKEY,1

If you change the "NDFILE" to a "DFILE" it becomes delete-capable,
and then you can use DEL in an O-spec to delete records.
