The QDBRTVFD database API is an exception. As I recall,
the documentation on the output format is about 100 pages.
I once took the time to simplify the use of that API and donated
that module and source in the iSeries-toolkit at
www.iseries-toolkit.org. Because the work is already done,
the API should now be easy for someone to use.
