-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] What you are saying is what i thought was the problem at first, and after lookign at all the record counters for that subfile, they are all 4 digits long and the subfile is at approx record number 6550. I'll have another look at those variables. Do you think that this could be a RPG400 problem rather than a problem with my software? jpcarr@tredegar.com wrote: >Hello all,I am scrolling through subfile and program falls over at about the 6550 record mark with error >message,"MCH1210 Receiver value too small to hold result".When I press F1 over the message I just get the same >error message again.Does any one have any ideas?Thanking you in advance,Mohan >Mohan First, I still can't believe people loading that many records in a subfile. Didn't your fingers get tired? Second, Sounds like you had something like EVAL A = B and A is a smaller size than B and you tried to put something like 1000 into a 3 position field(or something similar) John Carr _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!?
