I'm not on v5, but I think I can guess what's going on. was it Scott who first tested? I think he said he had the following scenarios: code left of column 80 - compiled code right of column 80 - compiled code that crosses column 80 - bombed. My guess is the one with code right of column 80 processed as comments! code crossing column 80 had syntax errors, because of unfinished lines. just a guess though... ---- original message ---- I have tried creating a source file with a length of 240 and the compiler still puked when I went over the 80 char mark.
