Bill, That's the problem... He has commas in his export fields (valid data) that screw up the comma delimited file. He wants to use *Tab delimiters (option available in CPYFRMIMPF, but not CPYTOIMPF). As far as I can tell, he'll need to build the delimited *stmf with an RPG program, so he can use "tab" for the field delimiter. Of course, this brings ebcdic<->ascii translation issues into the picture, as "tab" may not always translate the same....... Seems like IBM should enhance CPYTOSTMF to support *TAB field delimiters.
