Dean, %Open is available in V4R4, but you may not want to bother with it if you're relying on the AG to clean up resources. Just leave off the "USROPN" option on your F-spec, and the file(s) will be implicitly opened upon program activation. They will remain open until the AG is destroyed. Your example would be a good candidate for the use of a *NEW AG.
