For example: eval %subst( lotnumber : ( %len( lotnumber ) - %len( lotseq ) ) + 1 : %len( lotseq ) ) = %editc( lotseq : 'X' ) That doesn't look too great in a proportional font, but in fixed-width it should be fine.
