I have used cancel handlers and return handlers quite a bit to enforce certain rules. For example, if I write a procedure to support changing the current environment - say the library list, I register exits to restore no matter what happens. If you would like an example I can provide one. One thing to be aware of is that you cannot return anything or you will get an exception (it doesn't work like callp). Is there a list somewhere of all possible conditions a handler can handle? I know, RTFM. At this point it's just a general question, not a real project I'm getting into.
