I wouldn't sweat trying to learn where the subroutine name begins in RPGILE
versus RPG400.  As soon as you get used to that you'll stumble upon:

/free
 exsr mysub;
 *inlr=*on;
 return;

 // begin of subroutines
 mysub begsr;
 // do some stuff
 endsr;
/end-free

but here you might be able to sneak by searching for 'mysub begsr'
