Your device type could be getting you - but, this depends on "how" you are connected. We have a HP8000 with a blue kit IPDS emulator on the lan, it is defined as an IPDS printer, I have not have any issues with font size (but I have to be honest, I have only gone up to a chrsiz of I think it was 3 by 1.5, which was rather large but I am not sure how that translates to point size.) This could also be an issue of not all the right software on your AS/400 - go licpgm and do a 10 to display, do you have the fonts collection on, and do you have the psf/400 option on?? How did you compile the printer file (as an *afpds is the correct way)?
