Thanks Gerry.  Unfortunately, I have a product that converts existing legacy
applications, and I have to actually set the *INKx indicators in order to be
as non-intrusive as possible.  The way my product works, the only changes to
your source are some additional data structures and subroutines, and then
each I/O opcode is replaced by a call to a subroutine.  I don't actually
change any source in the original program (other than the I/O opcodes).
