There's always that transition.  Much like coding *ENTRY in the comment
section of a main program PI for the old timers who are trying to figure
out where the program's parameters are.

Personally I don't believe it is true.  The "work" is done in a number of
columns on the F and I specs whose meaning in no way jumps off the page at
you.

If you have to write comments to explain it, to me that is self-defeating.
It also does nothing to help a non-cycle programmer understand how to
modify
the code - it merely helps them to understand what it currently does (or
did
at the time the comment was written <grin>)
