Or move the logic that requires that you have this information to the
trigger program, or a dataqueue method fed by the trigger, or some such
thing.  Just want to make sure that this logic is portable if you change
interfaces - like from 5250 to C/S, web, batch, etc.

I think you will have to reread the record immediately after the update to
get the new values.
