Are talking about going to another AS400? ("different systems")
Are you using the DTAFMT parameter with *ALLDATA?

*ALLDATA
The spooled file is sent as it exists, without loss of
attributes. All spooled file attributes required to
reproduce the file on the receiving system are also
sent. Use the *ALLDATA value to send spooled files to
Version 1, Release 3, Modification level 0 or later
    releases of the AS/400 system.

Subject: SNDNETSPLF losing job attributes

Does anyone know a way of preserving the job attributes of a spool file when
using the SNDNETSPLF command to transmit a spool file between 2 different
systems?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, R. Medrano SWS/Tpa
