If I can make one suggestion please... When I write a long line I get an error, comment field not allowed for free-format expressions, so I have to break my line down to get it out of the comment field. How difficult would it be to just have the comment field included in the source line since we can't use it for comments anyway? That way I could code a longer line (I'm used to 80 column lines). It's much appreciated. I'd just like to say we're not leaving well enough alone. In our next release, we'll probably have a couple of enhancements that take advantage of the new calc-spec format. In fact, these enhancements won't even work on the old-style calc-spec, since the old 14 character factors just aren't big enough. (Hint: You might find these particular enhancements useful if you do any I/O in your programs.) Cheers! Hans Hans Boldt, ILE RPG Development, IBM Toronto Lab, boldt@ca.ibm.com
