>From the online manual:

The Add Physical File Trigger (ADDPFTRG) command adds a trigger to call a
named trigger program to a specified physical file. A trigger is a program
instruction in a physical file that calls a trigger program when a specified
operation is issued on the physical file. A trigger program is an exit
program, called by a trigger, that contains a set of trigger statements.

Sounds like triggers will only work on physical files. "They" used
the term "physical file" 3 times in that paragraph :)

Subject: Condition to apply triggers

 Hello:

When I apply the command ADDPFTRG on a file, and users are using the logical
files will it work?. I get an error message stating the object is locked.
If this is true then, when I remove the triggers also the users should notbe
using the files?.

Thanks
GG
