Hi Giri!  That is normal.

Right again.  One way to avoid this problem is to write a "stub" trigger
program.  This stub is what you call when the trigger fires.  All it does is
pass the trigger buffer to the RPG program that does the actual work.  That
way, you can "suspend" the trigger by using a data area in the second
program as a switch to say "go" or "no go."

ADDPFTRG STUB
update record
  database manager does a CALL STUB
  STUB does a CALL TRIGPGM
    TRIGPGM examines the data area to see if it should be working
    TRIGPGM does the work
