So really what you are upset with is that some people still send HTML email to the list. However, since the list server selects only the text document portion of the email we get the "This message..." text and the text alternate portion. Bottom line, the guys paying by the character are still better off because they would have had to receive the full MIME document consisting of both HTML and Text alternate.
