RE: Do we need to see "This message is in MIME format...?

They bother me, and I'm sure they bother RPG400-L participants overseas
paying by the character.

I quote (from 19 August 2001):

there is almost no situation where quoting the entire message is actually
necessary.  Please pare the quotes down to just those parts that are
necessary to make references.

In addition, if you are responding to a"n" excessively quoted message,

What's the difference?  It seems to me we're quoting a lame system message
(as compared to a lame participant) needlessly.

It is no longer a requirement that people send messages in plaintext.
The list software extracts plaintext or converts it, and sends out only
plaintext.

As for the headers ... they don't bother me.  Don't let them bother
you either.
