Double quotes are supposed to be a single quote, so in theory it should be like: 'Ain''t this nice?' The problem I come into is when trying to put a single quote at the beginning or end of a constant. Sometimes it seems I need to put three, sometimes it seems I need to put four. Not sure if it's: '''Ain''t this nice?''' or ''''Ain't this nice?'''' I have to mess around 'til I get it right each time. I'm trying to put together a string which will be used to call an AS/400 command, however this command has several quotes (') in it. How would I escape them? -Chris --------------------------------------------------------- Christopher A.
