Can someone explain any sort of rational reason for the 
existence of the CA selection?
In my "Confessions of a Lazy Programmer" you'll find it under the "Easy Undo" for allowing users to back out changes after they mangled a bunch of fields. If _they_ didn't want that data any more, neither did I.
