We always used PUTOVR instead of re-sending the whole screen and we never used CF for an exit key. Why read the whole screen into the program if all you're going to do is throw that data away and exit? Sending small datastreams meant that we could support 5 remote offices, each with 6 to 8 terminals and a printer on a single 4800bps multipoint circuit.
