Jade wondered: >how can I find out the day of the week for a given date? Hi Jade! This is a frequent enough question that I'm going to test it and put it into the FAQ when I get a moment. Mike Barton posted some code a while ago http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/200004/msg00715.html that should work for you. It's based on knowing what day of the week some arbitrary date in the past fell on and calculating the difference (in days) between the test date and the fixed date.
