I was wondering the same thing. The QUALIFIED keyword makes prefixing
automatic, but as long as the field name lengths didn't exceed limits,
Brad's suggestion would work, wouldn't it. Does the QUALIFIED keyword do
something else besides automate prefix selection?

What's the difference between:

1. using the QUALIFED keyword on a DS
2. specifying PREFIX('dsname.')?

Wouldn't they do exactly the same thing?

Brad
