Hi, gang, When WINDOW-coding in DDS, we tend to use the most important record to define our window When coding SFL in DDS, we tend to assume the SFLCTL-record as being most important In combining these to (SFL in WINDOW) however, best is to define the window in the "humble" footer... DDS-coding as follows works well: 1.Assume -record: ASSUME ASSUME 2.SFL- record: SUBFL1S 3.SFLCTL-record SUBFL1C SFLCTL(SUBFL1S) WINDOW(SUBFL1O) 4.SFL-error (no data) SUBFL1E WINDOW(SUBFL1O) 5. FOOTER-record SUBFL1O WINDOW(xx xx xx xx) WDWBORDER(xxxxxxxxxxxxx...) RPG-coding stays pretty much the same (WRITE footer before EXFMT sflctl ...) Hope this helps to solve your problem Greetings, Michel ___________________________________________________ |--------+----------------------------> | | "Gary Monnier" | | | <garymon@powertech| | | group.com> | | | | | | 20/04/01 01:25 | | | Please respond to | | | RPG400-L | | | | |--------+----------------------------> >----------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: RPG400-L@midrange.com | | cc: (bcc: Michel Cuypers/New Wave Logistics Belgium) | | Subject: RE: WINDOW SUBFILE | >----------------------------------------------------------------------------| Mike, Are you writing the reference window to the display first?
